I have a VERY NICE 5yo gelding UTD on everything that needs a job & stop being a yard ornament in our pasture. I bought him in December & rode him regularly on just the basics to get him broke & took him places but he cut his back left foot (healed & sound now) & with the time off & the kids competative sports I just haven't been motivated to ride. He will be a AWESOME prospect!! I sent him to a local trainer, Alicia Zodrow,for 60 days but since I've gotten him back it's been hit & miss with riding him. Needs work on seasoning & collecting since he's SUCH A BIG HORSE!! He did have a very FUN day Thursday after new shoes, cool light wind & rare sunny day.....he bucked me off! Thats the 1st time he's bucked with me, too! Like I said, he needs regular work. Very laid back while riding, easy to teach & easy to mess with. I just don't, regretably, see me putting the time in he needs right now with the kids baseball & softball & work going on.
