** NEW VIDEO -- 3-28-13 **
This mare is not only gorgeous to look at, but she moves elegantly too. She can help you win, and enjoy the ride, and look good doing it.
She is soft in the face and moves nicely off legs. She has a nice smooth, soft stop. Handles nicely with very little bit. Exercise her in a snaffle and run in a Tender Touch. Her training was been done slow and methodical and will stick with her throughout her career.
Structure and Medical history.......
She is sound and has excellent feet. Requires no special shoeing. She has good conformation with no glaring faults that would cause future soundness issues. Has had preventative injections to hocks once a year for last three years due to a small spur on hock, but X-rays show good spacing and no issues to date.
Very nice temperament. She is easy to be around and fun to ride. She is focused when it's her turn to run and wants to get in the gate and do her job when it's her turn. All business even in rodeo environments. She is not a "marish" type and doesn't show overly strong heat cycles. She does enjoy the company of another horse in the trailer with her, but will haul alone as well. No problems with shoeing, bathing, clipping, etc. No a quirky horse. She is nice to be around.
Angeluna is a smooth mover as you will see in her videos (below) and covers ground effortlessly. She has a 4-wheel drive style around the turns and runs free between. She is consistent and runs as well indoors as outdoors. The more runs she makes the better she does. Has run 17.1 and 17.2 on outdoor standard patterns (at rodeo), but in average ground she runs around a 17.5 on average. She is a 1D almost all the time, even with races with over 300 entries. Even when she makes a mistake she will win the 2D.
The possibilities are endless. This mare is the perfect age, has had the best upbringing
and has all the God given talent to go as far as her rider can dream.
She has had one owner/rider so she has developed a lot of confidence and consistency.
Owner is a quiet rider, so we would prefer to find a buyer who isn't overly aggressive.
Would also prefer a rider who is capable of riding a horse of her caliber. She is not a horse for a novice.
