Description:
"Gerti" is a well broke mare with a solid barrel pattern, good bone, good feet, very light, push style. Gerti was originally broke out by Dan Etbauer and trained on barrels by her orig owner Valerie Howell aka WAI on here! Her current owners purchased her few years back for their grandaughter she rode her off and on, she's now graduated and off to college and they've decided to sell her vs let her sit. This is a nice and solid mare for someone to go enjoy barrels on and take to the 4d's and win some money or learn on or if they need a babysitter! She likes an o ring or Jim Warner Hack, anything light,she's ready to throw in the trailer and go, in decent shape but could be in better shape! We're riding a lot of colts so she's getting rode few times a wk, but you can pull her off pasture or anything and she rides right off. If you are on a budget but don't want to mess with any training this might be the horse for you, all hard work has been done. It's also very hard to find a dtr of Shawne Bug so you have a great mare for future breeding, SB's cross well with many top barrel stallions. Gerti has been indoors/outdoors, worked cattle (very cowy), rode out in country, gathered horses/cattle, hauls good, easy keeper. Price was higher and now dropped, owners need to sell, they are not interested in any trades. I will continue to haul her to jackpots for owners, she is currently running 3D. More videos avail. |
