Red, had been turned out due to lack of interest in running barrels by previous owners. He was only being used to push cows or trail ride once or twice a year when we got him. We got him for the sole purpose to do ranch work. He’s very willing to work cows just not cow trained, he will drag a log but is scared of a rope. He crosses water, ditches, logs and travels out nice. Has a very nice handle and well broke. Is good to shoe and is easy to handle. Easy keeper and no bad habits. We put him back in the arena on the pattern after a few years out of it and loped a perfect pattern ( video included) needed no schooling or tune up. We don’t have a use for a barrel horse. He’s sound just needs legging up, he will be hauled and ran until sold.
