Blondie is the easiest horse to run around the barrels. She is a consistent money earner in 4D, 5D but has placed in 3D. She is a push style and with consistent running we were getting in the 3D more and more.
Blondie would be suitable for a handy experienced kid or a moderate adult rider who wants to go have fun and make clean runs. As long as you don’t cue her early she will never hit a barrel.
Blondie runs in a hackamore, the only vice she has is her mouth is very sensitive/ she doesn’t like it touched. We purchased her 2 yrs ago like this. We run Blondie barefoot she has good hard black feet, but we have ran her in front shoes as well. You can also leave Blondie off for a month and bring her back up and she’s the same horse every time- maybe a little out of shape but you don’t have to worry about her bucking or being a turd.
Blondie has also been used for Rodeo pageants and did very well, she also runs poles but I’m terrible at them so we don’t run them. Our daughter has also entered many playdays on Blondie and Blondie rocks at all events.
Currently Blondie is turned out with my gelding, mini horse, and mini donkey they get along really well. But when I turn her out with my 2 best mares there is always a disagreement because those 2 are the queens and they let every horse know it.
Blondie is only being sold because our oldest daughter has become consumed with sports and has no time to ride. I know I will regret it because she’s my back up horse but I’m 8 months pregnant and will be off for a while and she’s going to waste in the pasture.
Come try her at the house I have a barrel pattern set up in the dirt or we can take her to an arena.
She gets her updated shots in November and will have those before she goes anywhere. Stands great for the farrier also
(I’m her farrier when I’m not pregnant
She’s for sale not on sale! Any reasonable offer will be considered.
