Dash on Air

Dash on Air “Viva” is a 14 year old, AQHA mare. She is a seasoned barrel horse and knows her job. She runs indoor and outdoor well. She is more of a free runner, but will rate and be ready to turn as soon as you sit and ask to turn. I’ve ran 1D/2D smaller local jackpots, but the last year it’s been more 2D/3D and 3D/4D at bigger jackpots. She’s the horse that got me back into riding & barrel racing after 5 years off. She let me go at my own speed until I was ready to go faster.

We’ve placed at most jackpots we’ve went to in the 3 years I’ve owned her. The previous owner was running 1D/2D. I have 3 little kids and I had a baby a year after I got her, so as much as I want to keep her, I just can’t give her the time she deserves and needs. I want to see her be that great barrel horse for someone who can put the time in. She needs a confident rider, she’s not for a beginner. She has speed, you just have to learn timing with her to set up for barrels.
I think she would be perfect for a high school or college girl who has been riding for a while. She doesn’t need a lot of tuning, just needs legged up and she’s ready to go. I ride her in our fields, brush, and I’ve moved cows with her. She came from a ranch. Normal maintenance for a horse her age, please inquire if you would like to know.

Current on shots, worming, teeth, and regular farrier work. She has her winter coat & is not currently legged up due to winter weather in northern MT.
