Cody bought him to haze on. Sonny has been hazed on for 4 years.
This year I started him on barrels and he is a NATURAL. Absolutely the easiest one I ever patterned. With only 30 days training, I won a 4D buckle at a tough Amarillo race in June 2022. Goes in gate perfect, is never speed crazy, light mouth (runs in a Christi draw gag, I even pulled the tiedown off recently since he is so light) He loves barrels and women.

He is an OWN son of MP Jet To The Sun that is the sire of Ceri Ward & Merrick Moyer's outstanding Hiccup gelding that just won the Goldenbuckle Derby 1st Go last week.

Sound, broke, pretty and well bred, in fact he is also eligible for the Rancher's Heritage Challenge. Seasoned to the rodeo atmosphere. Runs barefoot, no maintenance, no bleeding, no stall weaving. Was used as a ranch horse, too. He is quick, soft in the face and talented.
Runs easy and smooth.

Highly talented head horse, stays in your hand and sure isn't going to get outrun.
Would also make a caliber breakaway horse, he is cowy and getting to cattle is simple for him, run after run. He has been from a #9 header to an NFR steer wrestler & a WPRA trainer so he is best suited for a good hand but mainly should go to someone that loves him, as you have to earn his trust, but he will always do his job.

Same owner 4 years and being sold due to Cody has 4 hazing horses and Sonny is the only one that runs barrels. so he will be sold.
