"MUPPET" is a 13yr old AQHA mare, 15.3HH, that runs 1D-OPEN times in the barrels but can also run a great set of poles and has been started on the heading and heeling side. She has had lots of 1D-wins and placings at the large barrel races and local jackpots and also has some amateur rodeo-earnings in the Ladies Barrel Racing. "MUPPET" is ridden/trained by a top barrel racer here in Canada. She is more of a push-style mare but is big-strided and fluent in her turns. She runs tough both indoors and outside and handles all types of ground conditions. This mare clocks effortlessly and hardly ever even looks like she's running. She is a past Senior Barrels Reserve Champion, competed at the BC Rodeo Finals and was a 2x Top-5 OPEN-1D Finalist at the Provincial Finals. She has clocked right up there with some of Canada's leading barrel horses. "MUPPET" is nice and light in the bridle and well broke to ride. She is great to ride out on the trails. This is the type of mare that will suit a variety of riders and riding styles. With an experienced rider she will clock with the best of them but if you aren't quite ready to be in the 1D yet, she will look after you and only run as hard as you ask her to. Sound and easy to be around. Very little maintenance, has not had her legs run-off. No gate-issues, hauls well, and is good with her feet.
