Navajo is green broke and ready to be patterned. He was sent off to training for a few months. The trainer hurt his back and we were unaware that he did not get sufficient riding time. Even though he was there for three months he has the handle of a 30 day start. We were planning to run him and our other SDF gelding (FC Strait Hopi-separate ad), but both are behind for 2024 because of the trainer issue. We are in the process of moving and don't have the time for them this year. Navajo's full sister (FC Strait Plush Toy) ran very well with Kelsey Lutjen. She was 1D including an open win in a tough race out of over 300 horses. Navajo needs some time and patience, but he has top 1D potential. He is paid in full to the Future Fortunes, Triple Crown 100, Select Stallion Stakes and Breeders Challenge.
