Nick is a 12-year-old Pink and Ruby Buckle Gelding that we have owned since he was a weanling. He is by As Good As Nick Gets and out of a proven producing Sticks an Stones/On the Money Red Mare. He is a very solid built 15.0/15.1 hands tall, and is chromed out. He is the sire of 5 foals, and has been a gelding for almost 2 years. Nick is easy to catch, load, lead, haul, etc. He does love attention, and is very quiet on the ground. He is 2D/3D locally, and 4D at large shows. He is absolutely amazing at Speed. When he was with my trainer, they won pretty consistently. He enjoys leading tiny humans around in lead line, and would probably make a really nice head horse. He is sound, and only requires light maintenance
(stifle injections
). He is UTD on everything, and is currently being legged up. We have made his 2023 payment for both the Pink and Ruby Buckle.
He gets fresh when he has been sitting, would benefit from lunging or working in the round pen ahead of his riding work out. Due to these reasons, I would not consider him youth or grandma friendly. His back left hoof has a vertical crack from an incident as a yearling, if you keep back shoes on him when you ride and compete, he will remain sound, and it will not cause any issues.
There are more videos of him on my YouTube Page.
