JJ First Frost aka Charlie is a 5 year old gelding. Future Fortunes enrolled. Charlie is a wonderful derby prospect for someone looking for something that just needs some seasoning and finishing. As a 4year old last year he was hauled very limited due to no fault of his own. He done excellent. He was started under saddle and patterned on the barrel pattern by me. Was running in the 3D/4D but has so much more potential and room to grow and improve and so much more to give. My personal time and health has been a factor as to why he has not been getting hauled or rode like he should be. He’s currently been on winter break. We are hoping to have our first show of the year be March 16th at the Dawn and Clea show at Garwood Arena. Has been lightly getting rode this winter mainly Trail riding. Getting rode inconsistently handles amazingly. Pull him out of the barn or out of the field and he’s ready to go. Charlie is eager, confident and always ready to go to work. He loves his job. Charlie has a great foundation underneath him soft mouth rides in a hack or snaffle bit. Breaks at the poll. Rides off leg pressure. Trail rides, loads, hauls, ties, stands for farrier etc. Charlie is truly an amazing prospect for someone. He does not have a mean bone his body. Hes very gentle, kind hearted, people pleaser, and loving. I think an experienced soft handed quiet teenager could easily handle. Health history will disclose with to those seriously interested. He is sound, healthy and ready to roll.
Qorks:

Can be herd bound at times but is definitely manageable. He is fine if taken away from other horses though could care less.

Requires more pasture time than stall time due to his high energy levels. Can not go to a home where he is mainly stalled. Haul him to overnight show he is fine. But stall him 7 days a week 24hrs a day your gonna have a problem.

I will be very selective and picky where he goes this horse would not be for sale if I had better pasture resources in the winter months. PPE welcome at buyers expense. I do have updated riding videos please text me for them due to not being able to get them to upload onto this site. 15k OBO
