Born July 4, 2000, Independence 2000 (barn name Cap) is available for sale.
He has been a great horse to me. He is the class clown, loves attention and being someone’s #1! You can do anything on him. I have ridden him all over. He is as bomb proof as they come. If you had to pick one to ride into a war, he would be the one that you would want!
Crowds and perfs don’t bother him. He carried flags for years at the PRCA in Fort Myers. He has run buddy pickup & barrels in the perfs at Cracker Day.
We have done a lot of neighborhood riding. I have had a dog run up and put his paws on Cap’s chest, a kid ran his scooter into Cap’s back legs, he doesn’t react, nothing phases him.
We have trail ridden at a bunch of county parks. You can take him out by himself and never worry about how he is going to act.
He has taught a handful of kids how to ride. He has done playdays at the posse and been to a few super shows. Knows poles.
He is not the fastest horse, but he is a 4D money maker! Doesn’t hit barrels.
He is a very safe horse. If someone is brand new to riding, it should go without saying, start riding in a small area first, but I have had very timid adults and kids on his back.
He lunges & self-loads in the trailer.
He is small (14 hands) and has a short back, so smaller adults and kids are going to be a better fit for him.
He does get sore along his back, and requires injections every few months.
He is on a complete senior feed. I don’t have grass, but he can tolerate it. He does not tolerate hay, hay cubes or hay pellets.
