Barrel racers, this is my plead to you. If you’re looking for a quality individual with all the traits it takes to make a good one, seriously consider this 2020 AQHA Gelding. Sure, he’s pretty but Folsom is LOADED with talent. He is quick footed, quick minded yet trainable, plenty of run & LOVES. TO. WORK! Pretty sure he thinks he’s a full brother to secretariat. Another perk? He’s broke & has a good foundation. A rarity in a barrel horse. (it’s ok, you can laugh too). You will actually ENJOY riding this one! He’s fun!! & going back to slow work isn’t a chore.
However at the end of the summer, at the ripe age of 28, I enrolled in nursing school on a whim. Over the summer I started patterning Folsom & have hauled him to exhibitions 4 times now. He is a freakin’ natural. *Cue video you see in this ad* The video is from Thurs Sept 26th, would also like to note this is after not seeing the barrels for a few weeks & being turned out for the 7 days prior (bachelorette cruises during hurricane season are fun). As you can tell, he wants to do it and has a very unique, wrappy style. If you're anything like me, I just want to say - do NOT be deceived by the fact that he is a cow horse. He has plenty of speed and really stays on top of the ground. At 4 years old he is just beginning to tap into his talent, it’s not fair to him that I don’t have time to ride. Unfortunately for me it’s just the season of life I am in right now. Fortunately for you, (if you’ve made it this far) here’s a shot at owning a superior horse with all the tools you need.

I won’t lie, I kinda envy the person who snatches him up, they’ll have a great horse on their hands no matter the discipline. BUT… I sure think it would be a wonderful thing for this horse to continue on in this direction.
He sells completely sound and healthy. No buck/rear, gate issues, cribbing, weaving, etc. You can’t go wrong with him!
