For Your Consideration: LS Grace Came Down, 11 year old sorrel QH mare.

Are you looking for a push button, finished, consistent barrel horse? She may be your girl.

I have throughly enjoyed running this mare. She is gritty and as honest as they come. She runs the same run everytime and doesn’t cheat you. She gives what you give- if you are a 1D rider she will clock. However if you are a 2d/3d rider she will adjust. With that being said-
She does get excited going in, but never refuses. I wouldn’t put a little kid on her but she would be suitable for a handy youth rider that won’t pull on her.

She has no bad habits. She will stand for the Farrier or vet, She is great to give Lasix to, Stands at the trailer, and lowers her head to be bridled. She is fantastic to haul and stall, and does well alone. She doesn’t get barn sour.

When it comes to riding- She picks up proper leads, goes off of leg and hand ques, and is very smooth to ride. I run and ride her in Martha josey million bit. She needs nothing more. She loves indoors, but will run great outside too.

When it comes to the pattern she looks forward to her job- however, she does not need to be worked on the pattern. She does not enjoy slow work or drills. If you are a rider that needs to do pattern work over and over again she is not your horse, she has no flaws on the pattern and executes her job perfectly.

She has not had her legs ran off. She is ready to enter and be somebody’s consistent horse.

I have rode her in the mountains, trails, and outside of the arena, she loves to be rode outside the arena. There’s no doubt in my mind she could excel in poles. I have never roped off of her but given her calm demeanor and temperament there’s no doubt in my mind she could do that as well.

Maintenance for her includes:
Hock injections as necessary (usually once every 1-2 years depending on use), she has had her coffin joints injected, she does run on lasix as her mom and full sister both bled. She is UTD on coggins, teeth, farrier, hocks. She is currently legged up.

Her ideal owner would be a mom, grandma, or handy highschooler that needs something safe, sound, and competitive that requires very minimal maintenance.

The only partial trades I would consider would be for a yearling, weanling, or coming 2 year old with incentives.

The only reason why I am selling is because my time is limited and I don’t have the time to go and enter her like she deserves. I will be picky on the right home, performance home is a must.
