Let’s talk about her pedigree, which says barrel horse through and through. Her sire, Frenchmans Elvis was a jack of all trades from winning money in the barrel pen, to doing every job on the ranch, to packing out elk, to pulling the kids around on a sled. He has the mind and trainability to do it all and his colts have shown it too. He’s sired winners in the barrel and rope pen, mounted shooting, and his foals tend to be favorites on the ranch. Frenchman’s Elvis’ sire, Frenchmans Guy needs no introduction on what he’s done and sired for the barrel industry. The grand dam, Midnight By Lucky is a full sister to Smoky By Lucky Boy who was a 3x NDHSRA Horse Of The Year, Barrel Racing Champion, Reserve Barrel Racing Champion (2x), NHSRA Finals Qualifier in Barrels and Poles, and NDRA Finals Qualifier.

Her dam is a daughter of Shawne Bug Leo who has sired winner after winner in the barrel pen; several making it to the NFR as well as countless Futurity champions. His daughters are proving to be producers. Her grand dam, a daughter of Confederate Leader who was an accomplished barrel horse in his own right but most notably is the sire of Epic Leader and many other top barrel horses, including NFR qualifiers. Her grand dam is the full sister to proven performers, Streakin Confederate and Callinginthefeds.
