I’ve had Fonzy for the last 11yrs and have enjoyed him so much in that time. He’s been a horse that has taught me a lot about myself as a horseman and that patients is key when working with these big guys. In the time that I’ve owned him I’ve only been able to run him a handful of times - mainly because I bought him right as I was going into hygiene school, and the past several years I’ve been busy with babies. But in those handful of runs I’ve placed consistently in the 2D sometimes 3D if his rider isn’t focused, we’ve also been in the 1D. I’ve never run him in competition for poles but have always kept up on it for something else for him to focus on. He is very quick footed and can snap around a turn. This guy is strong and has a lot to give. Never had any gate trouble and he is always ready to rock. Main reason for selling is my family and life. He’s too nice of a horse for me to occasionally ride and just sit. He deserves to go to someone that’s going to love him and let him do his job, which he loves! I have a few current videos of me taking him through the pattern (both barrels and poles) but no competition runs yet - but will continue to update this post as I continue to run him. The videos posted are from years prior. But in my opinion, he hasn’t missed a beat, I just need to keep up with him. If you’d like further information, PM me for my cell and we can chat!! I’ll be running him at some jackpots coming up or we can meet up for you to try him. 16yo Gelding 15.2 hands Barrels and Poles Easy to load and handle Good to trim and shoe Quiet on the ground and on his back No buck ***more videos available upon request***
