PFC Rockin Perks

PFC Rockin Perks or better known as Red is the best horse I’ve ever owned. I have owned him since February 2023, I purchased him from his breeder, so I’m his second owner. When I bought him he only had 70 rides as a two year old, so I can tell you everything about him.

I sent him to a professional barrel trainer in Oklahoma for 75 days from July-September of 2023 to get started right on the pattern. I entered him for the first time November 2023 and he clocked right at a second off, winning 2nd in the 3D. November 2023 through July 2024 he has been ran a couple times a month on average. He won the 1D by .2 seconds at a weekday jackpot, won the 2D behind Red Man Jones at a big race on a Friday and that Sunday he was top of the 2D as well. He has ran several 2D times and a couple 1D times against good horses. He had his hocks injected July 2024 for the first time, just to keep him feeling good. He is shod on a 6 week schedule, with no special shoeing required. He hauls great overnight and eats and drinks like a veteran. He loads and will back out or turn around. Paid in full to Future Fortunes and can derby this coming fall and next year. He is clean and straight legged, no soft tissue injuries either.

He was at a professjonal reining cowhorse guy getting more buttons put on, from August to October. He is the best minded horse you will swing a leg over. He stands tied to be brushed, bathed, saddled, bridled, and for the farrier. He rides bridleless, carries tarps and the American flag, and goes over all the obstacles. Super easy to catch and will let you ride him from the back 40 bareback with a halter back to the barn. My 5 year old daughter has ridden him bareback with me and around the barrels. He would be a great step up for a youth rider or just a beginner wanting to learn to ride. He is the definition of an old soul. He has been ridden out on 300 acres to gather and sort cattle into pens. I have ponied colts off of him. He has been hauled to chuckwagon races and is broke to hot wire. He doesn’t sit back, doesn’t get cinchy, and not cold backed. He is UTD on dental (10/21/24), farrier (11/21/2024), and coggins over the summer. No trades. He stands 15.3hh tall and 1200lbs.
