Available: Flit N Fast, 2018 chestnut gelding, 1D/2D with only 10 months of hauling (including exhibitions). (I didn’t futurity him, and he was slower to mature mentally, so I took my time. And, my personal horses tend to get behind due to client horses coming first.)

This is an updated ad—I advertised him last fall, then decided to keep him another year as he’s just getter better all the time. Now I’m almost 5 months pregnant and, since I train for a living and they all have to go at some point, I’m offering him again.

LOCATED IN STEPHENVILLE, TX this winter. Ran in NE and SD last year, where I live the rest of the year.

TX runs—I haven’t been able to get a video of a number of his runs, so I included one tip to show that I ride like a potato to my second barrel, and it’s not always his fault: https://youtu.be/5Cw64t3Ywm4?si=VYT8aGrScbPfrJbO

NFR pattern race, 14.0 (same run, two different angles) He won this race and about $2k. Took a couple month break after that: https://youtu.be/B0cShRfpjgI?si=rc2cMWe9ytWd7u1r

Runs from 2024, ordered most recent to his early runs: https://youtu.be/KVFDBa4C_Ew?si=L9LCjxvX2EVWeiQc (Same as in this post—if you prefer to watch on YouTube instead)

Sired by Fame Flit N Fling (A Streak of Fling, Dash Ta Fame) x Firewater Frost mare.

15.1 hands, probably 1100 lbs. For reference in the videos, I’m 5’7”. He’s a good sized, solid built horse.

Royal Crown
Diamond Classic
Future Fortunes
5 State
Nexus
Cornhusker
Cowboy State
Colorado Classic
Gridiron
Lucky 7 Bonus

First entered in April 2024, Very consistent 1D/2D, with conservative riding (I’m a good trainer. I’m not a good jockey 🤦‍♀️), at tough, big races (240-480 entries). He’s impressively consistent already as well.

Ran in NE and SD last year where I live, and is now located in Stephenville TX where I winter. We’ve been tipping the second more than usual down here—partly because I’m riding like I’m fat and old and pregnant, and partly because my guanabenz expired and I didn’t realize it wasn’t working, and he lost some confidence for a few runs.

Has run within a half second or less of:
Aint Seen Me Yet
Aint Seen Famous Yet
Jets Letters Ta Abby
Red Man Jones
Slick Swingin Gypsy
KD Baby Driver
French Bugs Tu
RS Bumble Bee Sting
Takin On A Goldmine

He’s a perfect balance of run and turn—he will do both! He’s one of those that always stops the clock a little faster than it felt or looked—I’m always surprised at how he clocks. It’s effortless for him.

He’s on the hotter side, but is very broke to ride. He will need a quieter rider who can ride and tune without spurring or popping in the mouth—he takes things personally and only accepts gentle and relaxed corrections. He has leveled out dramatically in the last year of hauling, but is not a deadhead you can throw your kid on for a pony ride.

He’s the type that will always try his guts out for you. He’s more of a “weapon” type horse, not a youth or casual rider’s horse. ☺️ No buck or rear—just a lot of horse! He has mellowed dramatically in the last year though already.

He’s a fairly easy keeper that doesn’t get fat or skinny easily. He trailers and stalls very well, doesn’t stress, eats and drinks easily on the road. He definitely prefers being pastured at home, as that’s how he’s been raised. I don’t think he’d do well in a small pen or stall 24/7 as his social life and movement make him happy.

He’s not a spooky horse—new places and sights don’t bother him a bit. I do still exhibition him some to keep him soft and listening, but he will confidently run into a new arena without and find the barrels.

Runs the same in a big pen or small, and clocks in both!

Maintenance, needs, health/vet history:
Requires hock and stifle injections a couple times a year (this may change if shoeing is kept correct), 3D/frog support wedge pads (due to negative hoof angles—with a good farrier he may not/hopefully won’t need these forever. They are an absolute MUST right now though, as he gets sore in the hind end without them).

I have chiropractic done occasionally, as with all mine.

He runs on guanabenz, although I don’t think he will need this forever, just based off how much he’s calmed down and matured in the last 10 months. (I rarely use this for any of my horses—he truly needs a little liquid happy chill right now).

I run him on Lasix as I do with all, as preventative and because it’s hard to get a timely scope where I live, so I prefer to just prevent it altogether.

He had a round of Adequan for support/maintenance/prevention last year. I’ve really tried to do everything right for him physically, and not take shortcuts. Requires extra magnesium in his diet too—makes a major difference in his mind!

He needs a person with good horsemanship who can keep him confident, relaxed, and correct to finish out. An experienced high school kid with a parent with good horsemanship may get along. He’s not difficult, just needs someone who can keep one soft using good ol’ pressure and release and correct riding. Bigger bits, spurring, and jerking won’t work on this one as I’ve outlined.

Never been lame, no injuries (other than a bone bruise probably from being kicked 2 years ago, that he just needed a couple weeks off for), no scars on his legs. Other than hock and stifle injections, he’s a very sound and solid horse. He’s not the type to have a new “ouchie” every other week.

He’s available because I train for a living, so they all have to go at some point, and I’m pregnant and don’t want him sitting.

Priced at 6️⃣ 5️⃣ k doll hairs. Price is pretty firm, but I do need to get him moved fairly soon as I don’t think I will be able to run much longer due to my pregnancy.

PLEASE do not waste my time or yours if you don’t have cash in hand, actively looking for a competitive horse, and fit my bill of the type of person he needs.

NO TRADES UNLESS it’s a coming 2 year old filly, running bred, and eligible for most incentives.

As you can tell by my novella, I’m 100% honest and upfront, and am more concerned with finding a great fit vs. a quick sale! My horses’ futures and future owners’ happiness are very important to me.
