Gambler is a 6 yr old off the track gelding. He raced his 2 yr old year before he was injured on the track. He sustained an Injury to his tuber coxae. His right hip is dropped but with consistent riding/osteopath he did gain a lot of muscle. He was turned out until his 5 yr old year after he was injured so he is on the greener side. We have had absolutely 0 soundness issues with him. Doesn’t affect the way he gets around/ rides whatsoever. He’s definitely on the more sensitive/anxious side and needs an experienced/ quiet rider. Stands great for the farrier and loves baths and any attention he can get. He is the biggest love bug/ in your pocket type. He is currently on a round bale, fat as a tick and ready for his forever landing spot. I’m downsizing as I have a lot of youngsters needing hauled. I think he would be just fine to get going on the pattern and see how it goes. He lopes around gorgeous and does flying lead changes with ease.
