Mint For Heaven "Twitty" is a beautiful, stout, 5 year old gelding ready to roll for his Derby year! Twitty struggled with abscesses during his futurity year, so he had limited hauling. Despite those hardships, he was a solid 2D futurity horse. We did our due diligence and got his soles in tip top shape with proper shoeing and Tribute hoof supplement. He is sound, sane, and ready to roll! Over the last six months, Twitty has grown in the pen placing in the 2D (.5 off), and even the 1D in our area with some salty competition. He is push style, point and kick, and is a ton of fun to run! He is not a barrel crasher, he is honest and gritty. He has a goofy, lovable, playful personality which he loves to show off especially in the warm up pen. My (handy) 10 year old can exercise him at home and cruise him through the pattern with no problems. He has plenty of brakes and NO quit. He has been trail ridden and exposed to cattle. He loads and unloads off any kind of trailer without issues. He eats and drinks on the road. He stands for the farrier. The only bad thing I could say about this guy is that he has yet to master the art of using ONE spot in his stall. The right home is a must for this guy! It's important for us to put our horses in the hands of people who can excel. It is a reflection on us, and we strive for a good fit!
