Joker has been brought along slowly and properly and stepped up when called upon. I have finally come to the realization that I cannot make weekend races with my kids’ schedules, so I am reluctantly selling him. He is a big kid and loves attention and affection. He does well with a confident rider as he can still be unsure of himself. He is easy to ride on the pattern, rides in a hack or light bit and can seriously cover ground. He wraps a barrel easily in spite of his tall frame. Super light mouthed and sensitive to the leg. He has been with three different trainers as I keep thinking I’ll get back to him, but it never happens. They have schooled and hauled him. He gets along with everyone and is an easy keeper.
I have ridden him all over our working ranch and he loves living outdoors. He has seen a lot and takes it all in stride. You can ride him all day and he just gets better as the day goes along.
