I guess it happens to everyone - we got old and we're moving to a smaller place. We'd like our Guy to go to a good home.

He was ready for the futurities and running top 2D times in time onlys his 4 year old year and a nerve injury kept him from ever competing.

We mostly kept him to raise a few colts for ourselves - we sold a couple each year. His offspring are well known for being terrificly smart and willing. Not all his foals went to barrel racers, and not every barrel racer is able to make a 1D barrel horse but a few of his offspring have done well. A couple foals went to southern Idaho and did well in the futurities. One in NW Washington has competed at a very high level, consistently in the 1D against top competition.

We've put the price low enough to get someone to take a chance on him. He's our buddy so we'll be cautious in picking a new home. He'll come up to get petted like a friendly dog. Super easy to handle. I got my first horse in the mid 1950s and I've literally been on hundreds. This is the best horse I've ever ridden.

He's the horse we put our grandkids on to ride when they visit.

He could still be a barrel horse but we've never had time to keep him in shape and ride him. He's been on trails, been hauled long distances. so he can be whatever you need him to be. Video is from his 3 year old year.
