Jimmy is a proven winner for every age pole bender and barrel racer. We purchased Jimmy for our oldest daughter
(at the time 16
) to High School rodeo on hoping they would fit and he turned out to be worth his weight in gold. He carried our oldest to the pay window more times than we can count. When she moved up we crossed our fingers again and hoped he would work for our youngest daughter
(at the time 8
)...again he stepped up to the plate! He will only go as fast as he is pushed, but is by no means a push style or ratie horse. If you want wide open and win first he is all there, if you want to go cruse he's fine with that too. Some may laugh at the first video we loaded..... that's literally his personality all the time. Goofing off, playing with people and stalls, lead ropes, that's just him. We were told he was raised on a bottle and that where it comes from. As you can see from the first few videos he walks down the alley calm , cool, and collected ready to go to work. That's very hard to find and then go in the arena and put out the kind of effort and try. He has been a once in a lifetime horse for us and there will definitely be some tears shed when he leaves.
Our oldest daughter is working full time and our youngest is eye balls deep in softball. We have let some friends use him the past couple months while their horse was out of commission. As you can see from the last few videos she is small and has no issues putting some nice runs together. He's a normal gelding in the pasture, doesn't weave , crib, or have any issues. Stands for the farrier like a gentleman, loads hauls, and travel like the seasoned veteran he is. He does have an old scratch on his back leg, it gives him no issues just superficial. Jimmy has a lot of life and runs left in him, must come try him to appreciate all that he is! We are located in Middle Tennessee area, $15,000
