Police Your Brass is a maternal sister to Designed By The King (LTE: $82K+) aka "Praise", the standout brown mare 2x Canadian Champion Barrel Racer, Taylor Manning is running futurities on in 2025. Brass is a 6 year old Dun AQHA mare sired by Sheriff Of Blackburn (see stallion notes below).
"Brass" has had 6 months professional barrel training with Jennilee Thompson and has 1D/2D stats in a handful of times being entered throughout Oklahoma at small jackpots such as OK Corral, Meeker RUC, Running R, Cutters Corner, etc. with mistakes and much more to give. She is a big, correct mare, standing 16 hands tall but is freakishly athletic, very strong and wicked fast.
Brass can get hot/nervous occasionally when hauling to new places as she is still green to hauling/entering but doesn't have a mean bone in her body. She is in your pocket, loves people, easy to catch, meets you at the gate ready to work no matter how hard you worked her the day before.
At home, she has been ridden in the pasture, tracked cattle, has been hauled to a few roping practices and has been roped on lightly. She is currently being legged back up and we have started hauling her some. She has a cosmetic scar on her hock, was vetted by Dr. Lee at Pink Buckle last year and it was a non-issue, buyers are welcome to have a prepurchase done at their expense.
She is current on her feet, deworming, coggins and will be getting her 2025 vaccinations in the next week or two. She had her teeth power floated regularly but most recently last fall by a professional equine dentist.
She is NOT eligible for any incentives. Offering her for sale because she is more talented than I am capable of riding right now and she deserves a shot to be somebody's gritty rodeo mount. A great performance home is an absolute must. Will get updated profile photo's after the rain this week.
