This beautiful filly is such a doll! With a pedigree to be a top barrel prospect, she would also make an excellent addition to your broodmare band in the future. Foaled May 17th (pictured at a week old), she can be weaned in the 4-5 month range, and will be broke to lead, load, pick up feet, etc prior to leaving for her new home. The foals from this cross tend to be a little shorter, and I’d expect her to finish out closer to the 15 hand range. So if you’re wanting a full barrel/running bred by Vitalio without the height he usually passes on, this is the gal for you. The oldest full sibling is 4 and is riding nicely, has a very confident, and friendly personality, and is generally laid-back with just the right amount of spice. I think this filly will be similar, pretty easy going but will have the speed and get-up-and-go when needed.
Her sire, Vitalio (LTE $30,000+) is a proven barrel horse that has pro rodeo earnings, and is a 4x CePRA and 3x KPRA finals qualifier. He is still sound, still competing, and still winning!
Her dam is by Rare Bar, a mare that we raised. She was being used for ranch work, started heading, and was being hauled to local barrel jackpots before an injury to her pelvis ended her performance career. Her second dam, Uptown Kate, is a race ROM producer.
This filly will be registered with AQHA and paid in full to Future Fortunes, and is eligible to run at both the Colorado Classic and VGBRA incentive. We will provide a current coggins and health papers, and she will be up to date on deworming and farrier.
