"Storm" is a 2019 AQHA Grey (black based) Stallion. He is sired by the legendary SLICK BY DESIGN, who needs no introduction. His dam, SMART N EASY OLENA, is a daughter of CAT QUICK CHIC, a reined cowhorse with an excess of $40,000 in his limited career, and she is out of a 1D Producing High School Rodeo Barrel and Pole Mare, ROYAL GREY STAR.
Storm has been color tested (E/e, a/a, and Heterozygous Grey). He is 7 Panel Negative, APHA Approved, and Negative for all PSSM Variants.
Storm is started on barrels and will begin hauling for exhibitions Fall 2022. His first foals are due Spring 2023.
Storm has a quiet demeanor, just like his dam. Training him has been effortless. He has never bucked under saddle and trainers have had nothing but great things to say about his disposition and willingness. We are eager to see him start his barrel career and see his first foals.
We are planning to enroll Storm in incentives as his foals come of age.
