"Mattie"is a consistent 2D horse on most patterns. She runs 1D on small patterns and will put you in the top at rodeos. We have hauled her to two rodeos and she placed 4th at her 1st rodeo and 3rd at her second rodeo. Would make a nice High School Rodeo horse for someone. She also placed in the 2D at the Kentucky State Fair in 2012 and she placed in the 2D at the North American International Livestock Convention against 100+ tough horses. She will run poles but has never been pushed. I don't run poles on her much because the payout isn't the best. She would be great for a youth rider. She doesn't need to be worked on the pattern at home. I just keep her legged up at then run her at the show. She gets faster the couple days of a three or four day show. I have one the average award on her for her consistent times. She stays calm and relaxed at the gate. You can walk her in and out and she wont get anxious. She will run through or circle but does better if you run her through the gate. She is a good pony horse and can also be ponied off of other horses. Great trail horse for anyone. She can be ridden on trails alone or with other horses. Will cross creeks and bridges. Will ride double. Has been ridden around cattle and with work you could probably rope with her. Will stay in any type of fence. Loads, clips, bathes, ties good. Not a cribber or weaver but will pace the stall if kept in for an extensive period of time. Great ground manners. Easy to shoe. Sound, will vet check at your expense. Grand Sire King Hankins Two has an ROM in Cutting and has won $19,057 with the NCHA. Has sired winners of $148,620 in NCHA earnings. Her great grand sire SONNY DEE BAR has a SUPERIOR in Halter, ROM in HALTER PERFORMANCE, was in the AQHA HALL OF FAME IN 2003, 62 HALTER POINTS, 10 PERFORMANCE POINTS. Mare can be registered with the buckskin association and with the foundation quarter horse association.
