Update: Birdie is currently a 2/3d barrel and 22 second pole horse but is faster with the right person. Have won multiple 2ds on her and had 22 second pole runs with me being in her way. She is easy to ride just not my style. I ran poles on her for a little over a year, seasoning her. Have not entered her in about 8 months but keep her on them at home some for a reminder. Very laid back, calm, not marish at all, rarely know she's in. Calm in alley, walk/trot. She is laid back to ride but needs someone to not let her be lazy when it's time to work. Update: ran her 2 days in 100+ degrees with not problems on new supplement. Have run her on only 1 1/2cc Lasix and only 2 1/2hrs out. One barrel and pole video shows me really in her way cause I had a broken finger cast that kept hanging up in the reins and she still was top 2d and low 22 sec poles. Have roped a dummy off her, very stout. She is safe. Couple other videos on you tube under birdiebarrels and birdiepoles2.
