I raised "Phoxxy" in hopes of keeping her, but I was was diagnosed with Breast cancer in 2015. I had planned on running her her Futurity year, and I succeeded in doing so, while undergoing chemotherapy. She took care of me, though she was very green and unseasoned. In August of 2015, we won the 2D avg, at the JJ classic Futurity in Verndale, Mn. She has won consistent 2D checks, and has hit 1D on occasion as well, with limited hauling. I have won several series awards.belt buckles, halters, etc on her. She doesn't like to hit barrels. She is smooth as glass. She has been started on poles, and really likes them. She has not been competed on in them though. She has also tracked calves and roped the tow dummy. Not by any means selling as a roping horse, but she has lots of potential to be an all around rodeo horse. She has been around cattle her whole life, goats, kids, dogs, etc. I am selling due to mounting medical bills, and I have too many horses. This mare is legged up, sound, and ready to enter. While she is not a beginner horse, a confident capable youth would get along with her. Ideally a H.S. or youth rodeo horse, is where she should go. This mare has much more to give, and has shown she has ability to be on top. She is well bred with AAA racehorses top and bottom, as well as 1D barrel horses throughout her pedigree. Will be competed on until sold.
"Phoxxy" has been collecting checks the few runs I have made on her this year. (7 total) More pole work, and starting back on roping. Will be adding goat tying to her resume as well. Would make a great all around youth rodeo horse! https://youtu.be/OiqqPfm9-x0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wwo3bAp_YLU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2BqESmEE4Mk
