I acquired a really nice Dun Gelding a few weeks ago, and then my injured horse was cleared for work this past Friday so I will be concentrating on her now and I'm going to start doing cutting competition instead of barrels.
He's bred wonderfully, and was a consistent 1D/2D Horse 3 years ago. He's been sitting for the last year with his previous owner as she nursed one of her other horses back to health. He would need to be worked back up to running like that and gotten into shape, but he has done it and has won shows. He has a great temperament, is fancy broke, and trail rides. I was told he knows poles but have not tried him on them, I've only tinkered with it in my pasture and he really wants to work them I just can't do it in my pasture because it's hard clay. 15.2h, current on everything. No alley problems no vices. The videos are from the three years ago owner, this last owner that had him for 3 years, and myself in the last month. One of the great things about this horse is he will go the speed you ask. You can do slow work, trot or lope the pattern, or he will clock. He just does whatever you ask him to.
He goes back to some of the great ones! And he's a beautiful color on top of it all.
