Cookie is a sure enough Confidence builder! If you are looking for a same horse every run turn him out and pull him up 2 months later and go run a perfect pattern at WHATEVER SPEED YOU WANT then look no farther. He loves to swim, will ride out through the pasture, down in creeks and push cows up without spoiling. My 7 & 9 year old daughters go catch him, brush, wash, and saddle him all on their own. He is about as safe as I know. No kick, buck, bite.... he will run barrels, poles, goats, and you can swing a rope off of him. He was used for breakaway when we bought him. I don’t believe in any animal being considered “Bomb proof” but I would say I trust him with everything in me to be as near that as possible. He gets along great with other animals and hauls and eats and drinks great on the road. I had a 6 year old girl borrow him this year and took him to the week clinic at Martha Josey And the next week to the National Little Britches finals and had no problems at all! They had great runs. I can say we’ve had him for a little over 2 years and are only selling to buy my daughter a step up horse. Do not let that fool you though he has speed and about flawless runs but my daughter just needs more speed to compete with this tough Texas competition. He has never broke pattern or tried anything funny on a run. He made my daughter the rider and lover of horses that she is today! He is just too good of a horse to let sit in the pasture and only use as a goat horse. I want him to go to his perfect home as he will definitely take care of his rider and do his job right every time. He runs consistent 24poles and places in the youth 3D times and can run in with spurs kicking and flying walk flat footed in and out of the arena then out a newbie on and walk the pattern. I have too much to say about him for the space that I have and I cannot brag on him enough. I do not have his papers as I never thought my daughter would have progressed this fast and I thought we would just keep him but I cannot see it doing him justice to keep him and buy her another horse. He is up to date on shots, teeth chiropractor and shod. He has been to Dr. Hannah in Atoka just last month and checked out before our finals and good until Feb for good next yearly shots and coggins. I took him to Lonestar Park in Grand Prairie last August for a full check up and exam and sent home healthy! Call or text me at 903-249-6217. I will be very picky in the home that he goes to.
