Barbie is as cool as they come. I bought her to season and finish out and she has not disappointed me. She will NOT knock a barrel over and is easy and fun to run. Just sit down in your seat and let her work. The lighter you are on the reins, the harder she will work. She is started on poles and I think will finish out to be jam up. er first time seeing them she was cruising through effortlessly in a hackamore.
She would be the PERFECT junior high or youth rodeo horse as she is bombproof gentle and has a nice handle. I exercise her by ponying her or riding bareback when I do not have time to saddle up. She can care less what you do with her. She is always there ready to work.
Not marish at all, you can pasture her with anything, hauls great, easy to shoe, bathe, saddle, warm up. She is one of my favorites I have had in a very long time. I hate to see her go, but I recently graduated college and just do not have time to ride anymore.
She deserves to shine. The more you run her and keep her legged up, she will just keep getting faster. She is priced to sell fast, so get her while she is cheap! No lameness issues, no injections needed, just keep her legged up and go have fun.
