"Shooter" is a bay roan gelding registered paint. I have had him 2 years. I bought him as a too fast trail horse. He has come so far in just 2 years of barrel racing. We have made our way to the 3D. I believe he would make a great junior high/ high school rodeo horse with a confident rider. He has never offered to be mean, buck, rear I really don't think he has a mean bone in his body but he is strong. So he needs someone confident. Nothing really gets to him. He has never pulled back doesn't spook at much. He stands at the trailer overnight, stands for the farrier, teeth, and vet. My 12 year old niece rides him and has run him. My 3 year old son rides him. He is turned out with my yearling mare and gets along fine. Prior to that he was with 2 other geldings and they all got along.
I bought him (June 2016) to get me back into barrel racing after having my first child and he has done just that. He has given me so much confidence back in my riding and training I hate to sell him but I'm ready to move on to something else and I cannot have 3 horses. Willing to work with transport.
Requires regular maintenance like all aged performance horses.
