5yo Rare Jet granddaughter, 14.3h. Dam belonged to me and was a 1D/rodeo barrel horse with $30k+ in winnings, as well as a winner on the track. Sire is 98% foundation bred and paternal brother to Potter Ranch's MP Thriftwood. He is a solid rope and barrel horse and has been producing teachable all-around athletes.
This mare was bred & raised on my family's place. I've been her only owner and can tell you anything about her. She has a really solid foundation – has worked in the sale barn and has had lots of pasture riding. Walks through trails, water, trees, etc. (see video) She has also been hauled to ropings to see the sights. Breaks at the poll, pinky finger light, light on her feet with a big stop. She lopes a really nice solid circle and wants to work off her hind end, picks leads up with ease, moves off leg pressure and inside rein. Loads/trailers very well, stands tied, easy to be around. The ground work has been done – at this point she will be very easy to pattern and haul.
This is one of the nicest prospects I've owned, but we have a 7 month old baby who takes priority. I find I have a lot less time to ride & haul! She has been started for me to ride – no holes, no shortcuts. But I've made the tough decided to sell my prospects that I once thought I'd have time to train. I'd like to see them go where they will have a solid shot at reaching their potential. This mare will definitely be a nice one! She already is.
