Description:
Magic Sun Star, AKA Rockett, is a been there done that kinda horse. She's off my personal string, has not been passed around. Owned this girl since she was 2 years old. She has not had her legs ran off. She was started as a 3 year old, exhibitioned and hauled until about 2014, then was on vacation until a couple years ago when she was leased to a youth rider. Which she carried her to the state championship, also took her to the bank, and won buckles and other awards.
Rockett is a 3-D/4-D horse depending on rider. Push style. Takes care of her rider. Has been hauled ALL OVER!! Saddle clubs, rodeos, jackpots, state competition, world flag race. Not a barrel hitter. No alleyway issues. Knows her job. She knows all the speed saddle club classes, and also trail rides, camps, picket lines, has been shown in saddle club w/t and ranch (does good if she stays off the muscle), shown in halter always placed 3rd or above, has been in parades, swam the buffalo river, worked cattle, gave basic lessons, you name it! Knows her groundwork. W/T/L. Catches her leads and collects very nicely. User friendly and fun to ride. Youth suitable, if they know how to ride. Perfect step up horse. Last race was September. If she's been laid up, I do recommend groundwork.
Middle pecking order. She doesn't start crap, but doesn't take it. Not your typical mare, not marish. Stalls great, but thrives off being a horse and being turned out. Easy to catch. Only one scar is on her rear. Great for the farrier. Never had to have shoes. Hard feet. Light maintenance. (She stays on succeed, and will get allergies if ran hard on really dusty ground.) Never been injected. UTD on farrier, teeth, vaccines, coggins, chiro, massage therapy, etc. Very well taken care of. PPE welcome at buyers expense.
