Description: Consignment Sale Stoney is a 2013 AQHA buckskin gelding who was off for about a year and is now getting legged back up and running again. Clocked 3D with me our first run with lots of rider error. Was consistently 2D/3D with previous owner with a lot more left in him and I have plenty of videos available. Runs to the right and left. Free runner to the first and push the rest of the way. He warms up great, super easy and low headed. Puppy dog personality and easy to be around. Boredom cribber- keep hay in front of him in a stall or a collar on and he doesn�t do it. Or kick him out and pull him up to ride. Doesn�t need to be patterned 5 days a week. Exercise him throughout the week, trot through a couple times a day before the race and he�s good to go. Will sometimes turn away from alley way, honestly not a big deal at all, I have a video of what he sometimes does. Just line him back up and he will go in and wait for you to give him the signal to run. Has been used to rope the dummy and played with breakaway. Would make a really nice breakaway horse if someone wanted to finish him out. Trail rides like a dream- stays in the back and takes his time Owner is motivated to sell which is why he is priced the way he is! NO tire kickers !! Please only inquire if you are serious! Selling because her kids are in sports and she has no time for him. Ran hin 6/3/25 and he placed top of 2D with me our second run to make together. I will keep running him until sold.
