Streaking Ta The Moon "Strawberry" is a 9 year old red roan mare by the late A Streak of Fling and out of a Dash Ta Fame mare. It is very difficult for me to do this is as Strawberry is very near and dear to my heart, but I do not have the drive to rodeo or barrel race like I used to and she is much too nice of mare to keep around just because she is special to me. Strawberry is a consistent 1D horse competing against some of the best badlands horses and riders. Runs the same way every time. I have mainly gone to barrel races but did spend a summer going to pro-rodeos on her where she handled it great. She is not a ratey horse but I also wouldn't call her free running for style. Does great indoors or outdoors. Rides outside in the pasture by herself everyday. Loads, ties, does great for the farrier. Maintenance of hock and stifle injections in the spring. Recently put pads on the front feet to help heal a recent bruise/ strain. X-rays clear, no tendon involvement. Vet checked clear after 3 weeks of pasture rest. Currently legged up and ready to go.
