Description:
Delta is a 10 year old chestnut mare that has been on the back burner. Her previous two jockeys were timid and did not ask for speed. Shes with me to tune up and on consignment. Shes been minimally entered and my first entry we were a second off, even with a slip at first barrel. This mare is gentle and easy to be around. She can be a little on the lazy side (expected since she was let be that way for so long), but pays attention quick and doesn't forget. She did have ocd surgery in her stifle as a colt which is completely healed, I have x rays of it. She has had her stifles done in the past, last time 2023. Her feet are good and she is shod all the way around. Stands quiet for the farrier and hauls good. Can be a little worried about her buddy but nothing excessive. This mare lopes around like a pleasure horse and slow works easily. Ppe exams welcome. Come try her!
