This hurts, but now I know why people sell horses because they "can't get with them".
STREAKINCOUNTRYROADS "Figg" is a beautiful 8 year old gelding by Streakin Boon Dox and out of a Rare Bar mare. He is my FAVORITE horse in the barn to ride, not spookish, SMOOTH, SMART, and has a killer stop. He also knows poles but just needs finished.
Now, long story short...I have had him for 4 years and in those years, we have struggled with the first barrel. Eventually we started going down the fence. After multiple vet visits, an old deep flexor tendon injury was found. After treatment, rest, and corrective shoeing, he was cleared for competition. He will pass a lameness exam ( just had one in September) but PPE at buyers expense. He rides great, but at this point, he has gotten in my head and I am anticipating going down the fence. I am his issue now. He is extremely powerful and fast, but will walk in flat footed and has a great stop! He could be suitable for an experienced youth (but is going to take someone with patience and work with him at the first barrel).
A good home is a must!!
I am keeping him legged up and ready to go.
