I've owned her for ten years and purchased her from my mother, who bought her as a five-year-old. At the very most, I have run her at ten races per summer, over the past five years. Before that, I just rode her at home. I am not the best jockey for her. She needs someone who will ride her all the way to a barrel. I don't ride as well as I used to and tend to stop riding and just hold on and wait for her to turn. I hit A LOT of barrels because I simply don't have the confidence and ability that I had when I was young!! I have a lot of videos of me hitting barrels that I can share. I feel that a confident youth or aggressive rider would suit her best. She will not run past a barrel! She sometimes gets nervous at the gate but is never dangerous. She will stop moving forward, but never rears or does anything scary. I usually have someone walk next to me, and she goes in just fine. I run her on Previcox tabs that I put in her grain, just as maintenance because of her age. Other than that, she doesn't require any maintenance. She's an easy keeper and super nice to be around. She's like one of my children and I hate to see her go, but feel like she's being wasted with me. I'd love to see someone win on her!
