16 yr old gelding, runs 1d/2d, placed at pro rodeos, amateur and high school rodeos. He was in the 2d at the extreme million in Queen Creek in January and he�s mainly been in the 1d at all the other barrel races this winter in Arizona. He can run on any type of ground. He has maintenance, he WILL NOT pass a ppe. I will disclose everything! He was nerved 4 yrs ago, but can still feel his toes. He can get HOT! At home he normally trots and lopes around like a western pleasure horse� at the barrel races he can get on the muscle and be a handful. I will not even consider selling him to an inexperienced barrel racer. He is kind and loves attention, but at the barrel races you need to know what you�re doing.
Maintenance
- [ ] Both sides of neck need to be injected every 5 months to stay on top of it
- [ ] Basic barrel horse injections every 6 months or so: hocks, stifles, si�s
- [ ] He was nerved but didn�t need to be�when shod the nails need to be low, no toe nail only put three nails in each side and don�t try to change foot
- [ ] He�s a roarer, so I tongue tie him
- [ ] I treat all my barrel horses for ulcers
