After going back and forth on this for over a year, I’ve decided to offer Miley to the right home.
Miley is a current 2D/3D mare with 1.5 years of college rodeo experience. Has been hauled all over TX, KS, and OK. This weekend, she placed 9th & 12th in the 2D against 80+ runners in North TX. She is by A Streak of Sunfire and out of a Corona Cartel daughter.
She is the exact same horse every trip. She hauls great, stands tied, eats and drinks on the road, stalls or pastures with zero issues, stays barefoot by choice, with no maintenance.
She’s started on the poles, has roped the sled, and has even packed around first-time lesson kids. If you’re looking for a horse that only knows barrels, she probably isn’t your girl. If you’re looking for one that’ll go win a check on Saturday and then pack your kid around on Sunday, she’s exactly that.
She is naturally quick, and the less you micromanage her, the better she is. Let her hunt a barrel, stay out of her way, and she’ll do her job. I truly believe she’d thrive with a junior high, high school, college rodeo, or competitive open rider looking for a talented young mare with plenty left to give.
