Dirty Vegas Fling is the kind of mare that reminds you just how much talent is underneath you. On her day, she has the ability to clock right alongside six-figure horses. She is incredibly talented, but she is not automatic she will give everything to the right rider.
She is still Derby eligible and is paid into Ruby Buckle, Future Fortunes, and Breeders Challenge, making her an exciting opportunity for someone looking to compete and capitalize on incentive programs.
She has been owned by our family since she was five years old and has been successfully campaigned by a 13-year-old youth rider. Together they’ve experienced the highs and lows that come with developing a talented young horse, and through it all she has remained mentally solid, and easy to live with. This will be a hard sale for our family as she is very special to us and her previous owner. Finding the right fit in family for her is most important to us. My daughter is ready and willing to focus on her younger horses.
She has been entered at rodeos and handles the performance atmosphere well. Around the barn she is uncomplicated, easy to catch, easy to haul, and requires very little maintenance.
That said, we want to represent her honestly. She is best suited for a talented, confident rider who can ride with feel and let her do her job. She is not a beginner’s horse or a “push-button” ride, but in the right hands she has the talent to be exceptionally competitive.
