Murphy genuinely enjoys people and is just as kind on the ground as he is under saddle. Our five-year-old confidently hops on him and rides him around, while adults enjoy him just as much. He stands quietly to be groomed and loved on, making him an easy favorite around the barn.
Outside the arena is where Murphy really shines. He's been ridden bridleless around the farm, including through the creek, and we've ridden him double on the trail with complete confidence. He's helped move cattle from the pasture and has roped a handful of live cattle. From crossing water and riding through brush, to traveling down the road, Murphy takes it all in stride.
Murphy trailers well, stands quietly for the farrier, and has been exposed to the everyday sights and sounds of farm life. Day in and day out, he shows up with the same quiet, willing attitude that has made him such a joy to own.
