Description After polling our fellow barrel racers, 90% say they are staying home due to the cold weather.  So we are CANCELLING this barrel race for Saturday Feb. 11.  We will be rescheduling this barrel race for March 3 and will be attending Ochelata on Feb. 25th.  Please note that I don't have this on the canchasin website yet....I will change it when I have a chance this evening.  PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD THAT THE BARREL RACE IS CANCELLED!  STAY WARM!



Our $1,000 added at each race will continue with a 2012 Winter Series as well as Best Ever Pads and other prizes at the final race. Bonus chances for winning if you attend all 5 jackpots!



Exhibitions @ 11am and Jackpot begins @ 2pm



Pre-Entries are taken by text message only. Text your entry request to 918-906-2879 the week of the race. Make sure you leave your full name on the text and any other desired info. If you are unable to attend and you have texted an entry request YOU MUST text back (with your name) that you are withdrawing your entry BEFORE the race begins.



Classes Youth 12 and under 3d, full second splits, $15 e.f. (May carry time over to open if desired)



Open 5d, 1/2 second splits, $30 entry fee (this includes a processing fee which goes for awards) per horse. There is a one time $5 barn fee per person.



 100% payback on added money, 80% on entries. Exhibitions are $4 each OR $10 for unlimited(per horse)! Please come early for exhibitions, we will begin at 11 am, we will NOT take exhibitions after 1 pm and ALL exhibitions must be taken by 1:30. We will open the pen for warm-up at 1:30 and begin the race promptly at 2pm.Check out our website for details on unlimited exhibitions.

Again, we will be giving away 5 Best Ever Pads and other nice prizes at the final jackpot in this winter series! No nominations....your name gets put in the pot every time you enter including the final jackpot and additional names are put in every time you place at the first 4 jackpots. We will then draw from those names for the prizes at the final race! No work requirements either! If you attend all 5 jackpots you will get your name in the pot 25 additional times!
