For Heavens Kate . This mare would be a great High school or jr rodeo Barrel and Pole horse.Kate is a 16 yr old Chestnut mare that stands just rite under 15 hands 14 3/4 area . She is a super stout heavy made big hip type mare . Kate is a low maintenance hock and stifles injected around once a yr we do run her on 2 1/2cc of lasix .She has really good barn manners, walks rite down the alley,stands for farrier,baths or anything , handles the road and being stalled she has No vices …Kate is a finished pole horse that will clock in the 20’s and low 21’s in tough Oklahoma competition and is a local 1d and a solid 2d horse at bigger shows and is a Jr rodeo horse deluxe. We just finished the Ok high school rodeo season last week where she was 9th in State in the poles this year and was 10th last year in the poles . She has won the Cavelcade poles the last 2 yrs . Kate has ran Barrels at the Jr Patriot , the IFYR she has been hauled to night rodeos you name it in the Barrel racing ! Kate has more of a role back type barrel style and doesn’t really fit well with my daughters riding style she prefers more of a ratey turny style horse also we have 2 pole horses so our focus is to find a back up barrel horse rather than having a pole horse . We feel like she should b someone’s number 1 horse so they could get the best out of her .
