🍻SEASONED RODEO HORSE Consistent 1D/2D barrel horse, pole horse, and head horse, standing 15.3 hh
•Fancy broke. Neck rein, direct rein, counter bend, great collection with a light touch. Good stop and back up, on a loose or collected rein. Soft in the ribs and engages his hind end. Moves off of your legs, and can move hips and shoulders separately when asked.
•No funny business. No ally issues, walks in flat footed. Stands for the farrier, loads, hauls, and ties like a champ. Self pens and is good in a stall. Not herd bound.
•Not only is he great in the arena, but also loves a loose rein trail ride. He will work all day for you on the ranch moving cattle or just going for a trot down the road. He has chased cows at the auction barn, has done some pennings, roped some breakaway calves, and worked the flag. He has also rode by lesson kids.
•Free going into first barrel, push style on his two left turns. Runs hard and strong in any ground. Anywhere from sticky mud to dry and dusty, he stays on his feet.
🔥 Long list of credentials, but here are some of his biggest accomplishments:
• 2022 Canadian High School Barrel Racing Champion.
• 2023 BC High School Barrel Racing Season Leader in the North Region.
• 2023 BC High School Barrel Racing Champion.
• 2023 National High School Finals Barrel Racing Qualifier.
• 2024 BC Rodeo Association Top 10 Finals Qualifier in the Barrel Racing. (semi-pro association).
• 2024 Quesnel BCRA 4th Place in the Average in the Barrel Racing.
🪿 Goose would be very suitable for a high school rodeo competitor, running pro, or cleaning up at amateur rodeos. Must be handy to run and ride him, he is sensitive and takes a soft hand.
