Cinco is a 16 year-old mare with a solid track record in barrel racing, having competed in high school rodeos, NRA rodeos, and jackpots. She’s a consistent performer in the arena and would make an excellent step-up horse for a confident junior high or high school rider looking to advance their skills.

She is an off the track mare that knows how to use her stride to her advantage and is quick on her feet. Extremely sure footed and can handle all types of ground well. She’s got great genetics so the opportunity of breeding is there. She does run on the hotter side if not worked consistently, so an experienced rider is recommended. She loves to be out at pasture and stretch her legs. This is not a mare that does well being cooped up all the time. Cinco loads easily, stands great for the farrier, and can be tied up all day without issue.

No alley issues and is super fun to run. Put her in her spot and let her do the rest. She travels well and is easy to be around. She gets along with everyone in the pasture. Loads great with or without others, great for the farrier and no vices. This is a hard horse for me to sell but I think she would benefit more if she could be someone’s main focus. She requires light maintenance. PPE available at the buyer’s expense. Up to date on everything.

With all of this being said she has some sarcoids under her jaw that will need to be removed in the future. My vet said that it would be fine to run her all summer and get them removed in the winter. If interested I can go more into details of what this looks like!
