This mare was has been such a blessing to our program. She’s well handled, loves attention, great in a herd or by herself but I usually keep her with one of my geldings as a companion. We do use a caslick and regumate til heartbeat check just as a precaution. She stalls well, but I usually keep a companion within line of sight if I have to stall her. I did not breed her back this year. She should be ready to go by late September, early October. She’s just easy. My daughter is getting married and has lost interest so we are no longer breeding.
