I bought this gelding earlier this year after trying him three times and vetting him extensively. The first time I took him out after purchase, he ran up the fence at the first barrel. Since then, he’s been hit or miss on the first — he needs a rider who can set him up perfectly to make that turn. When he does, he clocks and has all the ability to win.

I believe a older, handy youth would do fine on him
Bottom Line:
This horse has the tools, but he needs a knowledgeable rider with the time to keep him consistent. I’m in the police academy and don’t have that right now.
